Old world charm, with comfortable, clean rooms and great patios. Perfect location (just a few blocks from Accademia and San Marco Museum) and walkable to any destination in Florence. The staff was wonderful. They were very courteous, spoke perfect English and gave great recommendations for restaurants and scheduling museum tours. They also provide a free delicious, hot breakfast. Lovely stay at Hotel Morandi alla Crocetta. Really beautiful and unique hotel, which from our understanding was a convent as recently as 1997. We had the fresco room, which was lovely to wake up to. It was also well equipped with a mini fridge. Staff were very kind and accommodating, and breakfast was very good. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We had a spacious, beautiful and clean room. The staff was extremely courteous and professional, plus a very good breakfast. The location is very good, walk between 10 to 25 min to pretty much anything in Florence. Compared to a number of other hotels we stayed in in Italy, this one is one of the best. Tip: book your room really in advance, you can save a lot.
